I attended the Advanced course in Solar Astronomy at MPBIFR in February-March 2009. I learnt about the various features on the Sun, basic problems and unanswered questions in this field. The worksheets laid out at the end of the course were particularly helpful and ensured a comprehensive understanding. This knowledge served me well when, later on I went to pursue a PhD in Solar Physics and I found it very easy to comprehend and quickly analyze the problem.
